World Street Kitchen: The Tour

1 of 13

The bricks-and-mortar version of World Street Kitchen (also a food truck) is fast-casual, but chef Sameh Wadi (of the fine-dining Minneapolis restaurant Saffron) ensures each dish gets the royal treatment when it comes to flavor. The menu is filled with confident cuisine mash-ups: Thai with Mexican, Indian with Mediterranean, Middle Eastern with American. It's all really good and really bold. Standouts include the red curry chicken Bangkok burrito, lemongrass meatball lettuce wraps, and aloo tikki chat, an Indian potato and lentil patty with three sauces. The tacos are superb. And despite WSK's limited liquor license, with its beer-, wine-, sake-, and bubbly-based cocktails you won't miss the hard stuff. And do not leave without trying the creative homemade soft serve ice cream. PHOTOS BY EU PHOTOGRAPHY.
