The Lynn on Bryant: The Tour

1 of 12

Residents of the Lynnhurst neighborhood will find a lot to like about the Lynn on Bryant, a sweet little eatery with a classic yet casual French menu. Whether you're in the mood for breakfast, brunch, lunch, a casual dinner, or an elegant meal, the Lynn has you covered. All those options can get a bit confusing, though, because the Lynn has a first-come, first-served cafe in the front of the restaurant and more formal dining in a separate room at the back. Co-owners Jay Peterson and chef Peter Ireland are committed to sourcing protein and produce from local farms. Breakfast is served daily during the week and starts early (7 a.m.). Grab it and go from display cases or stay and enjoy great coffee, superb caramel rolls, and dishes like heavenly fruit-stuffed brioche French toast or serviceable omelettes. The cafe menu includes a gorgeously light and pungent goat cheese souffle, croque monsieur, and duck confit. The more elegant dining room serves homey French dinner dishes, such as grilled hanger steak, baby pumpkin with chestnut custard, and moist bone-in chicken breast. Desserts are delicious and almost shockingly cheap. PHOTOS BY EU PHOTOGRAPHY.
