The Current celebrated its 8th birthday with two packed nights at First Avenue. Saturday's show started with The Chalice and "Hot Cheetos and Takis" stars The Kids, continued with Now, Now and a solo set from Soul Asylum frontman Dave Pirner and ended on an emotional high note with Cloud Cult and a Dave Campbell DJ'd dance party.
