Sneaker Snapshots at Girls Got Kicks book release party

The Girls Got Kicks book tour heated up the Twin Cities this Saturday evening at Rhymesayers' Fifth Element record store. The release party was presented by author Lori Lobenstine, with a B-Girl Be showcase featuring hometown talents Desdamona, Tish Jones, Maria Isa, Lil C (winner of the sneaker battle), Denise Lewis and jams by DJ Shannon Blowtorch. A photobooth for the book was held at B-Girl Be 2009, so the book features a good representation of Twin Cities ladies bringing the heat to female sneaker fiends across the globe.
