Chuck D organized, promoted (at an afternoon press conference), hosted and headlined the Hip Hop Gods tour that played at First Avenue Thursday night. His seminal & classic hip hop group, Public Enemy provided the explosive finale for the show (when cohort Flavor Flav was kept from his stream of consciousness ramblings) which also featured sets from Wise Intelligent, Leaders of the New School, Schoolly D, Monie Love and X-Clan with cameos from local Mally, Slug & Brother Ali.
