This year's Minnesota Music On A Stick show at the State Fair showcased an eclectic mix of local talent made good, starting with The Chalice playing early in the hot sun and followed by P.O.S., playing to a fairly sparse but enthusiastic crowd. Mason Jennings then brought a mellower singer-songwriter vibe but had the fans singing along. The Suburbs, featuring a combination of old favorites and brand new tunes, hit the stage at dusk as the crowd really started to fill the grounds and Duluth's Trampled By Turtles closed the evening out with their revved up bluegrass.
