City Pages blitzed the State Fair for a taste of more than a dozen new foods. The chow-down included Lamb Chop on a Stick from Lamb Shop; Great Balls of Fire spicy meatballs from Sausage Sisters; scones with sausage and gravy and risotto poppers from French Meadow; Bacon Ice Cream from Rainbow; Ragin' Ankles pig legs from Famous Dave's; wine smoothies and Portobello Bites on a baguette slice from Minnesota Wine Country; and a Walleye Roll from Giggles Campfire Grill.
