MIA Third Thursday: Urban Oasis

The Minneapolis Institute of Arts transformed their spacious lobby into a relaxing, tropical oasis with grass, palm trees, and other South Seas amenities. This "Pop-Up Park," designed by Shawn McCann, was part of this month's Third Thursday event, Urban Oasis, inviting visitors to bask in the glow of the improvised sun and the surf, accompanied by St. Paul electronic dance group Apollo Cobra, and tropical-themed photo booth hosted by Yelp Twin Cities.
