Marijuana Deathsquads May 2013 Residency at Icehouse

Burgeoning Minneapolis band and collective Marijuana Deathsquads took over Icehouse for five nights in May, alternating Fridays and Wednesdays, for a series of bombastic, thematic shows with dozens of collaborators. With Playatta mixing live visual insanity and openers ranging from a rare surprise solo set from POS to the intense electronics of JSSWHTNY, from the bubbles-and-confetti-cannon circus of Tickle Torture to the lavabangers of Lizzo and Lazerbeak, these five nights in May gave Minneapolis music fans much to remember.
