The new Devil's Advocate bar just off Nicollet Mall has one thing on its mind: meatballs. Well, OK, two things: meatballs and beer. You can order your meatballs on their own or as sliders or hoagies, with a choice of sauces. Your best bets are the meaty meatballs (beef, chicken, pork), though you can also get spheres of salmon or falafel. Wash them down with 40 taps of American regional, Belgian, German, and Dutch beers. Perhaps the best thing about Devil's Advocate is that pretty much everything costs less than 10 bucks. PHOTOS BY BENJAMIN CARTER GRIMES.
