Glen Hansard brought vim and vibrancy to First Avenue on September 29. His 10 person band, composed of members of The Frames and Levon Helms' touring band, ignited the crowd with their powerful and impassioned performance. The nearly two hour-long set included sing-alongs and several covers and the joy with which they performed their songs permeated the packed Mainroom.
