Location: The Soap Factory. Ambers mom always brings home great finds from garage sales like this woven leather belt with large gold buckle worn with a Dickies dress and boots. These impeccable black motorcycle boots once worn so rotten that the bottoms fell out were salvaged and shined up real nice at Shoe-a-New. (Note: Amber freelances for CP!)

We saw a plethora of fun fashions this week as people started to grow tired of their summer wardrobes and added unusual flair to usual attire. We hit up an art gallery in Northeast, St. Paul rock and roll clubs and a vintage sale that made the Goodwill look expensive. PHOTOS BY EMILY UTNE / CAPTIONS BY STACEY TUTHILL on July 26, 2009
