Club shots: Dre Day '09 keeps our heads ringin'

"Ding ding dong, ringading ding ding dong..." That's the sound of Twin Cities hip-hop lovers coming together to celebrate the g-funk culture created by rap legend Dr. Dre. "Dre Day '09: Minnesota Love" was an exceptional affair at the Varsity this year on Valentine's Day, coming complete with 40s in brown bags printed with the rapper's face on them; the annual 20-Sack-Pyramid game, specials on gin and juice, and of course, some funky people who definitely ain't forgot about Dre.
