Bourdain will talk travel anecdotes, roasted meats, and the international food community with Andrew Zimmern this spring
This spring, two bigwigs of the food world will come to Minneapolis to meet, greet, and talk about eats. Renowned chef, author, TV host, and one of the most recognizable figures in food, Anthony Bourdain, will take the stage at the State Theater with local hero Andrew Zimmern, writer, media personality, international epicurean, James Beard Award winner, and owner of the recently opened food truck AZ Canteen.
The two will share stories from their travels and talk about their respective philosophies on food and its role in the international community. The night promises to include a Q&A session with both speakers. Maybe someone can ask Bourdain why he went off on a profane Twitter tirade
last week over a Cadillac-sponsored promo for his final No Reservations
It promises to be a fun night for all. The last time Bourdain was at the State Theater,
a guy in the audience came onstage and dropped trou to show off a tattoo of Bourdain's face on his ass. Tickets go on sale tomorrow. Here's where you can get yours.
The event will take place at the State Theatre at 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013. Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 and range in price from $45.50 to $65.50.
There are also a limited number of VIP tickets available for $179. These VIP tickets include premier seating, a limited-edition tour poster, VIP laminate, and exclusive access to a post-show meet-and-greet reception featuring complimentary hors d'oeuvres from Crave and photo/signing ops with Bourdain and Zimmern.
