Make your mobile food dreams come true

Food trucks may be in hibernation (although not all: Chef Driven Co, Tot Boss, Fork in the Road, and a couple others are still braving the frigid temps). However, street eats season is just a couple of months away. Have you got a great mobile food idea? We found a trailer that's looking for a new owner.

YumMI Banh Mi has decided to sell its trailer and truck. The trailer was used to make its variations on the beloved Vietnamese sandwich. Therefore, the truck is best used for cold prep. It is licensed to be parked on the sidewalk. Their usual spot used to be on Nicollet Mall.

It's a 2011 Featherlite single-axle model with a Cummins 2800 W generator on top of the trailer. YumMi was only out one season, so the trailer has only been gently used. They're asking $20,000.

Need something to hitch your trailer to? They are also selling a Dodge Ram truck. Here is the Craigslist listing

Just imagine what you could create in this baby! Tortas, grinders, springrolls, green papaya salad, Chilean-style ceviche, bocadillos, 101 kinds of pickles, bimbap, shortcakes, spicy cold noodles -- the possibilities are endless!  (We only ask that you promise never to make deli sliced turkey wraps in soggy flour tortillas -- that has got to stop.)
