Weekend Brew round-up: Release parties, taprooms, and more
The outdoor beer-drinking events may have ceased, at least until the Beer Dabbler at Winter Carnival (look forward to it on January 25), but the seasonal beer release parties are in full effect.

There are a few exciting ones going on this weekend, starting with Lift Bridge's Commander Barleywine release at the Lift Bridge Brewery in Stillwater. The party starts at 3 p.m. this Saturday and will keep going until 10 p.m. with live music, food truck eats, and a mustache contest. This is your first chance to get a taste of this limited release English-style brew, aged in bourbon barrels that came straight from Heaven Hill distillery in Kentucky. Tickets for the party are $10 and can be purchased at the brewery.
