Yesterday afternoon, in a posting on Facebook, Social House declared that effective immediately, this Uptown sushi spot would no longer be open for business.
According to the post, which prominently features the "That's all Folks" banner of Looney Toons fame, the landlord of the Uptown building that housed Social House has forced the bar and restaurant out of its lease. The restaurant had been a nine-year tenant of the building.

The Asian-inspired Social House featured a variety of Americanized versions of classic ethnic dishes, which included the likes of a bacon cheeseburger egg roll, Korean tacos, and tempura. Social House also offered a variety of sushi, much of which made heavy use of sweet sauces and spicy mayo.
While Social House officially opened its doors in 2012, the space was home to Fusion and before that Zeno. All three businesses were run and operated by the same management company.
