Travail's New Year's Eve "Jamboree" Packages Promise Booze, Brunch, and Shenanigans

The Travail gang knows how to party. Ring in the new year with them instead of falling asleep on the couch at 10.

The Travail gang knows how to party. Ring in the new year with them instead of falling asleep on the couch at 10.

You're either going to pop open a bottle of Asti while sitting on the couch in your slippers and yawn your way to midnight (hint: not festive) or you're going to sausage your way into your sequins and slip-slide down Hennepin Avenue in stilettos, trying to act like this is New York (hint: Times Square ain't here).

Considering the lameness of both those options, why not make a plan to do something actually cool? In typical over-the-top fashion, the Travail gang is hosting not just one, but three events for your holiday celebration pleasure.

Event #1: 10-course dinner at Travail and the Rookery, $125 plus $37.50 service fee, which covers an 18% gratuity, tax, and a ticketing service fee. Two seating times (6 p.m. and 9 p.m.)

As usual they're not releasing a menu, but have mentioned the words truffles, oysters, beef, unlimited bubbles, and beer. Wine and cocktails available for purchase.

Event #2: Buffet at Pig Ate My Pizza, $70 with two seatings (6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.) All you care to eat pork and pizza buffet along with various other passed appetizers. Unlimited beer and bubbles, and a sweet treat at the end.

If you really want to strap on your party face, the crew is recommending the 9:30 time -- chances are, more than the regular hijinx will ensue at this one.

Event #3: If you simply couldn't peel yourself off the couch on the 31st, you can still celebrate New Year's Day at Travail and the Rookery, where they'll be serving a prix fixe brunch at four seatings (10:30 a.m., 11 a.m. 12:30 p.m., and 1 p.m.) $30 plus $10.50 service fee, which covers an 18% gratuity, tax, and ticketing service fee. Beverages available for purchase.

Tickets for all the events are available for purchase here.
