Top food and drink deals for Twins fans

Have you seen what Twins tickets are going for on StubHub these days? Thirty-some bucks to watch them play the Brewers...and that's standing room only.

After a rough loss to the Royal's last night, the Twins are hitting the road. But here are a few ways to save some cash while drinking and dining at nearby restaurants before or after the next home game vs the Indians.

Seven After all home games, bring in your ticket stub for a complimentary drink at Seven. The restaurant also offers complimentary valet parking with purchase of a dinner entree from 6 to 10 p.m. daily (some restrictions apply).

Wondrous Azian Kitchen Thom Pham is offering "Twins for One" specials with two-for-one pricing on select booze and appetizers two hours before and two hours after every home game. Also, check out the cocktail and sushi roll in honor of new (and recently injured) second baseman Tsuyoshi Nishioka.

Kieran's While not necessarily Twins related, Kieran's is right across the street from Target Field and offers an epic daytime happy hour from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Tap beer, house wine, and rail drinks are $4.50, with several $5.99 food specials. But if you want to splurge, try Kieran's new house whiskey, 2 Gingers.

Loon Cafe While the Loon Cafe's famous chili can be found inside Target Field, you won't find its Sportsman's Breakfast of scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, and toast, served starting at 10 a.m. on early day games. (Note that the Loon's 3:30-6:30 weekday happy hour is not available on Target Field and Target Center event days.)

Smalley's But what's the hardcore Twins fan to do during away games? Smalley's, the Twins-themed eatery in Butler Square, shows every Twins game on its televisions and offers its typical happy hour special of $3 drinks and appetizer specials between the first pitch and the last out.

Where else do you go for food & drink bargains before or after games?
