Tie on your pretzel necklaces and prepare to ride the mechanical bull because it's time again for City Pages Beer Fest, our annual celebration of suds in downtown Minneapolis. On Saturday, May 31, we'll have samples of over 100 beers, live music, unlimited Fulton beer in the V.I.P. area, and much more.
The party gets started at 5 p.m. in the parking lot located on the corner of 10th and Hennepin, and lasts until 9 p.m. Come and sample beers from local favorites Summit, Fulton, Big Wood, Day Block, Schell's, Burning Brothers, Excelsior, as well as a variety of domestic and import beers.
General admission tickets are $30 and include all of the beer samples, as well as access to beer games, the mechanical bull, and live music by Viva Kneivel and the Brian Boru Irish Pipe Band. You can purchase your tickets in advance online or at the door on the day of the event.
V.I.P. tickets are $55 and include early entry to the event at 4:30 p.m. and exclusive access to the V.I.P. deck where attendees can enjoy free food provided by various restaurants and unlimited full-sized beers provided by Fulton. Unlike general admission tickets, V.I.P. tickets are only available for purchase in advance. This year's Beer Fest also features a single-elimination bags tournament (aka Cornhole) for teams of two.
