Last week the Wall Street Journal published their own travel article about Minneapolis which included visits to Burch Steak, Piccolo and Pig Ate My Pizza
Remember a few weeks ago when that infamously awful travel review of the Twin Cities came out? It featured a bunch of chain restaurants and unnamed locations and essentially sounded like one of the most boring vacations -- Wikipedia entries -- ever. It was so bad that it not only prompted an outcry from many angry Twin Citians, but it also lead to a review of Chicago based sandwich chain Potbelly fromMNMO's Jason DeRusha
-- just to be sure that we weren't missing out on something. Well friends, there's a new article making the rounds on social media.

The first night, author Matthew Kronsberg visited Burch Steak for dinner, followed up with cocktails at Icehouse and a late night doughnut run to Glam Doll. He called out local chef Issac Becker by name and hit on the finer points of Icehouse's homage to local rock legends The Replacements.
