Think you got what it takes? MasterChef casting call coming to Minneapolis

Think you're the best home cook in America? Gordon Ramsay, Graham Elliot, and Christina Tosi will be the judges of that.

Think you're the best home cook in America? Gordon Ramsay, Graham Elliot, and Christina Tosi will be the judges of that.

Have you, you know, mastered your chocolate soufflé, your piri piri chicken, your better-than-sex cake? Are you ready to put your mastery to the test of a red-faced and spittling-down-your-shirt-collar Gordon Ramsay? Then pack up your knives and go — to the Hilton Minneapolis on Saturday, August 15, when auditions are being held for the seventh season of MasterChef on FOX.

And sorry, pro chefs, you're already disqualified — the competition is open to home cooks only, with hosts Gordon Ramsay, Graham Elliot, and Christina Tosi judging food challenges as contestants compete for the chance to be named America’s #1 MasterChef.

Open casting call is Saturday, August 15, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Hilton Minneapolis, 1001 Marquette Ave.

You are "strongly encouraged" to pre-resister by visiting masterchefcasting.com and filling out an application as well as reading the audition guidelines.

Note: You must bring a finished dish to the audition, and we strongly encourage you to leave the idiot sandwich at home.
