If ever there was a year we needed to eat our feelings, 2017 was it.

Luckily, there’s no better place to forget Russian collusion with a perfect foie gras or let a stunning plate of pasta transport you to a world without tax reform than this, a city with a culinary scene so vibrant that in October, the Wall Street Journal called it one of the top 10 travel destinations in the world.

Thanks to the chefs, restaurants, bartenders, and brewers who helped make the past 12 months ever so slightly more bearable. And now, without further ado, our look back on the year in food.
