From noon to 6 p.m., the co-op will host live music, an Indeed Brewery beer garden, food trucks (think O'Cheeze, Chef Shack, and Hot Indian Food, among others), and group discussions on topics such as healthy, local eating. Did we mention entrance is free?
Set in between Lyndale and Garfield Avenues on 22nd Street, the block party will give event goers the opportunity to meet the pros behind the produce at the Meet the Farmers Tent. Local farms including Gardens of Eagan, Ferndale Market, and Hoch Orchard will have people on hand to answer any questions you might have about resourceful eating.
Wedge CEO Josh Resnik credits the co-op's 40-year success to people's growing understanding of "locally grown, responsibly sourced food."
