The Vieux Carré at Sea Change: Laissez les bon temps rouler with this drink of the week
What a view... the Vieux Carré
The Vieux Carré joins the ranks of the Sazerac and the Ramos Gin Fizz as one of the most storied cocktails from the Big Easy. The name Vieux Carré (pronounced v'yuh kah-rey) comes from the French Quarter and translates to "old square." Originally created in the 1930s, the traditional mix includes bourbon, Benedictine, Peychaud's bitters, and sweet vermouth.
