After steeping for a couple of weeks, my Buddha's Hand vodka was ready to drink, infused with the citrus fruit's grapefruit-tangerine flavor and aroma. Sure, it looked about the color of a urine sample, but it tasted great. On its own, the stuff can be a little intense, so I mixed it with a couple of the funky Asian grocery beverages I had on hand to create a tropical cocktail we dubbed the Buddha Slap.
The Buddha Slap (makes one drink) 1 oz. Buddha's Hand infused vodka 2 oz. kalamansi juice 2 oz. mangosteen juice
Shake vodka and juices with ice and serve in a martini glass.
