Take back ice cream and support Muslims at Milkjam and Dear Gaza Block Party

The always classy Milkjam and Sameh and Saed Wadi posted the below message for all of us on their Facebook page. "Can we all get along and eat ice cream?" it asks.

Well, can't we?

The message comes after the owner of a Lonsdale, Minnesota restaurant and ice cream shop posted an appalling sign admonishing Muslims to "get out."

The Wadi brothers see no reason why the sweet, inclusive tradition of getting ice cream should be marred by a bigot spewing hate. Milkjam will have no part of it.

If you agree and you'd like to show your support of the Muslim community, you can attend the upcoming Dear Gaza block party at 24th and Lyndale Avenue, where "Minnesotans from all walks of life will gather to stand in solidarity, witness art, and fundraise for the plight of Gaza."

There will be spoken word poetry, dance, art, interactivities, live music, and, of course, hate-free ice cream.
