Surly will soon be available in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska

The Surly Nation is growing. After opening its $30 million facility in late 2014 and expanding into the Chicago area and statewide across Iowa last year, Surly will be soon be available in Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota as well.

Distribution to the three new states officially begins on May 2. To start they’ll be shipping kegs of Furious, Hell, and Overrated to bars and restaurants, with liquor stores also selling cans of Bender, Coffee Bender, Todd The Axe Man, Furious, Hell, Cynic, and Overrated. The recent spring seasonal, Xtra Citra Pale Ale, is limited to existing markets of MN, WI, IA, and IL.

Much like last year’s Iowa invasion, the Surly team will head west for special tastings and events, which will be announced at a later date. For any Nebraskans or No/So Dakotans reading, Surly recommends checking its website closer to May to find out more.
