We knew they were working on securing a location for the a new restaurant concept, but J.D. Fratzke and Tim Niver, owners of St. Paul's wildly popular Strip Club Meat and Fish, were mum on details. Now, the Star Tribune is reporting that they are set to sign a lease in St. Paul's Lowertown neighborhood.
[jump] Kevin Duchshire reports
that the Housing and Redevelopment Authority is "likely" to approve J.D. Fratzke and Tim Niver as tenants for the retail space at the base of the new Lofts at Farmers Market.
For now Niver isn't ready to comment, pointing out that the lease has yet to be signed. What we do know is that this won't be Strip Club 2.0: This is an entirely new restaurant from the same guys.
Stay tuned for what will hopefully be some delicious details once the deal is finalized.
