Strip Club celebrates one year

Can you believe it? It has been a year to the day since St. Paul's classy, not that type of strip club Strip Club restaurant re-opened the doors of a 100-year-old grocery for business.

In that time, the restaurant has swiftly ascended to the top of everyone's "Best Of" lists, immediately taking with locavores galore, red-blooded meat lovers and the occasional confused Twin Cities sex tourist.

Stop by for a cocktail - the bar's signature drinks, like the Joker or the Jamo Toe, are popular. If you're lucky, maybe you'll get a new one named after you. Staff have a reputation of conjuring custom drinks on the spot.

Or order several small plates to pass around with friends and wax poetic about the view of downtown St. Paul. People drool over the wild rice crepes and the shrimp scampi. That's not even including dinner. There may be off-menu selections as well.

We look forward to seeing what the restaurant comes up with this year. Kinda makes you wanna open a restaurant with friends yourself. Congrats, guys!
