In honor of the years literary titan Ernest Hemingway spent in Spain, Solera Spanish restaurant is hosting a week-long celebration of food, drink, and entertainment.

Starting tomorrow through Sunday, the restaurant will offer a whole fish dish inspired by The Old Man and the Sea and the bar will serve two special $5 cocktails to reflect Hemingway's, ahem, spirited tastes.

On Friday, the group Javier & the Innocent Sons will perform and on Saturday executive chef Jorge Guzman will offer a paella cooking class (two tapas, paella tasting, plus wine and sangria for $40 a person).

The event culminates on Sunday with another one of Solera's $45 per person pig roasts, more blues guitar from Javier & the Innocent Sons, a screening of the film "The Sun Also Rises" on Solera's rooftop, and a giveaway prize package that includes a $100 gift Solera certificate, two tickets to the upcoming September 24 Paella Cooking Class, plus several Spanish cookbooks and Hemingway novels.
