Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart make green brownies
Coolio's not the only one making rounds on the cooking show circuit. Rapper Snoop Dogg showed up Friday on Martha Stewart's show for "Christmas Cookie Day" where the two whipped up a batch of -- surprise! -- green brownies. Dressed in a sweet black velvet suit and dark sunglasses (contrasted by Martha and her enthusiastic Christmas sweater-clad audience), Snoop proceeds to make a number of predictable, though still funny, pot references.
Why green brownies, Stewart inquires. "Green is environmental ..." Snoop says before being cut off by the roaring crowd. "Twelve ounces?" he says as Martha measures out the chocolate, to more roars. "Ok, we've got some ounces in the house." And maybe the best zinger: "Why not bake them at 420 degrees?"
It's not the first time the two have joined forces. Snoop has appeared on Stewart's show on at least several occasions. And Martha has improbably teamed up in the past with Busta Rhymes and Diddy. Apparently the combo of aging rap stars with middle-aged media moguls is ratings-winning combination.
