Seward Co-op shows you how to bag your own deer for dinner
If you're anything like me, you're always on the lookout for venison but have never done the dirty work yourself. Even if you have no experience with hunting, you can channel your inner Steven Rinella in this Thursday's class at Seward Co-op, where Department of Natural Resources outdoor mentor Erik Jensen will be explaining the ins and outs of hunting deer and other species for food. In this two-hour lecture, Jensen will cover the basics of hunting regulations, firearms ownership, scouting land and waterways, game preparation, and more.
The lecture will take place at Seward Co-op from 6 to 8 p.m. this Thursday, and the cost is $15 for members and $18 for non-members. Register by calling 612.338.2465.
