Sea Salt, one of the best spring'n'summer spots to relax and chill in wooded bliss over some fresh oysters, crabcakes, a po'boy (or or or!) and a few cold ones opens for the season this week. Friday. 11 a.m.
The restaurant's location in Minnehaha Park is somewhat deceptive -- if you don't know better, it's easy to pass and dismiss as a mere park concession stand. Au contraire! The restaurant's tight relationship with Coastal Seafoods have always made it a sure bet for the freshest (not to mention among the most reasonably priced) sea fare.
One catch though, you really pretty much have to be on board with seafood. Non-seafood options are pretty much limited to veggie burgers and hot dogs. They also close kinda early, so plan ahead.
