School Lunch Talk: "Tray Trends," "Country Watch" and more

The site formerly known as School Food Policy has taken on the lighter-sounding name "School Lunch Talk" and will be more regularly featuring columns on the best and worse school lunch menus from around the country, trends in school lunch fare and of course the photos to accompany them, sure to bring you back. The site has been around for a few months, a mix of hard-nosed analysis about school food and legislation related to it, mixed with some humor. One of the coolest features it has is its "Country Watch," which details what kids eat at school in other places. They've profiled France (Basque chicken thighs, cucumbers with garlic and fresh herbs), Italy (zucchini risotto, pesto lasagna), and Japan (fish, rice, soup) so far. [via seriouseats]
