Rice Paper reopens after move to Edina
After a summer hiatus, Rice Paper restaurant reopened earlier this week in its new Edina digs at 3948 W. 50th Street, just down the block from the movie theater. The popular Asian eatery had outgrown its tiny Linden Hills digs, and the new space offers a larger dining room and an outdoor patio.
The menu, which includes owner An Nguyen's health-conscious take on Vietnamese fare, has stayed much the same, but now includes special afternoon tea items served between lunch and dinner, from 2-4 p.m. Mon.-Sat. (On Sundays the restaurant is open for dinner only from 4 to 8 p.m.) Keep in mind that Rice Paper retained its early dinner hours, offering its last seating at about 8:15 and closing at 9.
