Dining out can be tricky for people who eat gluten-free. In deference to National Celiac Awareness month, two local restaurants have planned two events with specials and added menu items catering to those with a wheat-free diet.
The second event will be Wednesday, May 26, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Café Levain (4762 Chicago Ave. S., Minneapolis; 612.823.7111). During this event there will be a special gluten-free menu in addition to drink specials featuring Bard's Beer. Be sure to call for reservations though.
