More flippin good times coming soon to Stadium Village
Benjamin Carter Grimes
After finding success at their original location in the Six Quebec building in downtown Minneapolis and then adding a storefront near Lake Calhoun, fast-casual burger joint My Burger is opening a third location in the former Oak Street Textbooks store in Stadium Village, reports the Minnesota Daily.
My Burger co-owner John Abdo tells the Daily that even though they are applying for a liquor license that will allow them to serve beer and wine until 2:00 a.m., they are not looking to turn this spot into a "party bar." Instead they'll set this location apart by operating with more of a sit-down restaurant feel and decorating the walls with walking times to various campus locations.
The menu will be similar to My Burger's other locations and will serve the standard single and double beef burger; grilled or crispy (battered and deep-fried) chicken burger; turkey burger; veggie burger; and fish burger with fries. Swap in onion rings, coleslaw, or fresh fruit for a little extra and save room for a chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry shake or malt.
The Stadium Village location is set to open at the end of July.
