Minnesota's Angie's Kettle Corn to appear on Martha Stewart
The Angie behind Mankato-based Angie's Kettle Corn will be cooking on Martha Stewart's television show this Thursday with her husband/business partner Dan Bastian, talking about their gluten-free snack. While they demonstrate how to make a stovetop version of their kettle corn, the Bastains will relay their entrepreneurial story.
Back in 2001, Dan and Angie Bastian, along with their two children, started popping kettle corn in their garage to sell at local outdoor festivals and events. Their business grew to include grocery store distribution in more than 45 states and the honor of being the "official" kettle corn of the Minnesota Vikings, Twins, and Timberwolves. Today Angie's is the 10th best selling popped popcorn brand nationally, and the number-one brand in Minneapolis.
Tune in Thursday, January 27, at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on the Hallmark Channel, or find the segment repeated on MarthaStewart.com
