Minnesota Craft Beer Week announced

Fans of local breweries, brew pubs, and hard-to-find craft beers will want to check out this unique seven-day festival highlighting the best of Minnesota beers.
During the celebration several breweries will be debuting new varieties, including wheat, barleywine, and imperial ale brews by Town Hall. Brewers from Flat Earth, Upstart Breweries, Surly Brewing, and others will also be visiting to talk shop and offer samples. Several nights will feature giveaways, pub trivia nights, and drink specials, including $2.50 pint night. Cheap beer you'll actually want to drink--what a novelty!
The weeklong event will take place May 17 to 23 at three locations in the University region of Minneapolis: Preston's Urban Pub (221 Cedar Ave. S., Minneapolis; 612.338.6164), Stub & Herb's (227 Oak Street SE, Minneapolis; 612.379.0555), and Town Hall Brewery (1430 Washington Ave. S., Minneapolis; 612.339.8696).
Sound like fun? Of course it will be! For a complete schedule of events, check out mncraftbeerweek.com.
