A Bloomington steakhouse chef has come up with a Haiti-inspired spice blend whose name may also qualify for inclusion in the 2010 version of the Kama Sutra.
According to WCCO, Woolley's Steakhouse Chef Peter Christenson came up with the new "Haitian Love Rub" on his way back from a recent trip to Haiti, which he plans to sell in order to raise money for a Haitian orphanage. CCO says the blend will also be incorporated into special menu items like jerk-seasoned scallops and etouffee-style saute.
The love rub is just one of Christenson's "shakes" -- in addition to "original," "diablo," and "wild bird" -- available on his "Plump Chef" website for $5 apiece. A portion of all proceeds from the love rub will go to All God's Children Orphanage in Haiti.
Woolley's is located in the airport Embassy Suites.
