There is no shortage of ways to celebrate Halloween in the Twin Cities, from running 13.1 miles in costume in Team Ortho's Monster Dash Half Marathon to creeping around the horrifying Haunted Basement at the Soap Factory. But no festive option rivals this one for deliciousness: The Melting Pot is hosting a Fon-BOO dinner on Halloween night from 4 to 10 p.m. where, for just $30 per person, ghouls and goblins can enjoy a gourmet three-course fondue meal.
Dinner begins with your choice of cheese fondue, continues with an entree featuring white shrimp, teriyaki sirloin, and chicken breast, along with vegetables and dipping sauces, and finishes off with a haunted holiday-themed fondue such as wicked caramel apple and pumpkin chocolate. And no frightful feast would be complete with spirits. Choose from Halloween-themed cocktails, such as Bacardi Razz Vampire's Kiss, Bombay's Sweet-n-Tart Brewhaha and the Grey Goose Jack-O-Tini.
Guests are encouraged to come in costume and compete in the costume contest. Pictures will be taken and posted on the Melting Pot's Facebook page, where fans can vote on the most creative garb. The winner will receive a $100 Dip Certificate.
Reservations are recommended. Visit The Melting Pot's website here for more information.
