Since Spoon and Stable, the hotter-than-the-sun new restaurant by Minnesota-born, New York-trained chef Gavin Kaysen, arrived in town, it's been a bit of a party game to spoof the name: Spork and Table, Knife and Gable, Stein and Cable. You get it.
Well, some funny folks over at JamesBeardBro.com enjoy this party trick too, and they're taking the work out of it for us clever folk who usually cook up this good-natured ribbing over beers. Now you can waste time at work by generating names for your chef-driven restaurant in a gentrifying neighborhood.
Just choose the vision for your establishment: "Urban Fusion," "Gastroperience," "Organic Roach Coach," or "Brewmusement Park," and you too can come up with the coolest new name in Twin Cities dining.
Here's ours: the Hotpocket and the Halibut.
Give it a whirl, then report back, but there's no way we're eating at Ladyparts and Ass.
