Last month it was Jimmy Fallon, and now it's international news: The BBC World Service has picked up the news of the vegan butcher shop, proving that there's no end to the fascination over the question: "What, exactly, do vegans butcher?"
According to the BBC story, the brother-sister duo Aubry and Kale Walch are now trying to master SPAM, in order to recreate a treat they grew up on during their childhood on Guam: seaweed-wrapped SPAM. They've got the flavor right, but the texture -- not so much.
But lest you think they won't be able to do it, just remember that they claim to have conquered Camembert just last week.
Their south Minneapolis butcher shop is scheduled to open this year.
