Dang, what's going to be our excuse for going to Wild Rumpus now? This is really gonna steal our cover. Linden Hills Co-op has announced it will be moving next year from one cute intersection -- arguably the cutest in the Twin Cities -- to another one about 10-12 blocks away. Current plans are for the new space at 44th and France near France 44 and the Convention Grill -- what used to be the Sunnyside Market -- to be open for business about this time next year. According to the website:

With almost 50% more space on the sales floor, co-op staff anticipate an expanded selection of local, organic, and Fair Trade food and goods in every department, plus more space for prepared foods, baked goods, and sustainable meat and seafood. We plan to have both indoor and outdoor seating areas, which can be used as community meeting space and for the co-op's public classes.

The co-op follows precedent set by fellow co-ops Mississippi Market and Seward.
