PBS this week made a boatload of its programs, past and present, available for streaming online. So now you can dork out with "Frontline" and "Masterpiece Theater" whenev. What does this mean for foodies? Julia Child is what it means. Ten episodes of the French cooking master's programs are currently available via the site.

If you're a Julia freak, you can knock those out in an afternoon, sure, but just be patient. Local PBS affiliates will reportedly begin contributing their own content to the site shortly and PBS is in the process of rolling out more of its own material right now as well. Will that possibly include Batali and Paltrow's "On the Road Again?" I admit I kind of adore that show.
