They held a little sneak peek yesterday, but Indeed Brewing's new taproom, the largest in the state (at least until Surly's taproom opens), will officially open to the public Friday at 3 p.m.
During the opening festivities, the Potter's Pasties food truck will park outside the brewery and will sell its full menu, including beef, chicken, and veggie pasties and traditional English sausage rolls. Patrons will be able take their food inside the 70-seat taproom or eat on the outdoor patio, which has seating for 45.
Here are more details about the taproom's hours, tours, and how much a beer there will cost you:
Indeed Brewing won't be doing growler sales right away, but co-owner Rachel Anderson told the Hot Dish that Indeed will sell 750 ml bottles out of the taproom for off-site consumption, under the growler law.
If you prefer to stay and enjoy the new taproom, Indeed will serve three sizes of beer on draught: 10 ounces for $3.50, 16 ounces for $4 and 20 ounces for $4.50. Indeed's happy hour runs daily from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, which are the days the taproom will be open. During happy hour, every beer will be $1 off the regular price.
As far as brewery tours go, there won't be any happening on opening weekend. Instead, Indeed is offering informal brewery walk-throughs every hour from noon to 3 p.m. Formal tours will start in September.
