Design Within Reach was never any design within ours, but here's something we can actually use: excellent Korean that we don't have to head to the suburbs to get. The longstanding and beloved Eagan restaurant Hoban has been serving authentic banchan, kimchi, green onion pancakes and hot pots for almost 20 years, and now they're getting a second location in the old DWR space in Uptown.
Hoban is best known for its fine and craveable bulgogi and kalbi preparations. The restaurant applied for their liquor license late last year according to city records, but we noticed signage going up on the facade yesterday. No word on specific opening date, but the smell of sizzling stone broth bowls cannot be far away.
