Hell's Kitchen's getting its generosity on this weekend with a full night of free music, drink specials, and perhaps best of all ... Haitian comfort food, to benefit victim's of Haiti's earthquake. In a release, the restaurant says:
Our amazing staff (who came up with this idea) will donate all tips....Hell's Kitchen owners will donate all profits....artists will donate their talent. And you? Just show up, eat, drink, and enjoy a damn good good evening for a helluva great cause. Proceeds go to American Refugee Committee and remember, Sunday is the last day you can donate and claim your generosity on last year's taxes.
The event goes from 5 p.m. to midnight. And just what is Haitian comfort food? For $10.95, you'll score a plate of boulette (meatballs), macaroni au gratin, diri et pois coles (red beans and rice), and griot (fried pork) with salad.
