Guinness wants to send you into space and under the sea
This is weird. As part of its a celebration of the 250th anniversary of its Dublin brewery, Guinness is having a contest, the winners of which it is sending to a) outer space, b) under the sea or c) to a private show with the Black Eyed Peas.
Hot Dish reported a few months back on the iconic Irish stout's special edition 250 brew, another marker of the occasion. Contest winners will get a quick ride on Richard Branson's "Virgin Galactic" or a ride on a submarine beneath the Norwegian Sea. The Black Eyed Peas thing is small potatoes by comparison. Guinness will be served to submarine passengers. No word on whether it will be served in space.
You can sign up through Sept. 24.
